SfRBM’s Junior Awards, Community, Belonging and Engagement, Publications Outreach and Foundation Committees wish to congratulate the winners of the Society’s Annual Travel Awards. These awards are made available to students and postdocs who submitted abstracts for SfRBM 2025 to present their research. Abstracts were judged using a double blind review process. Winners will receive special recognition at the SfRBM 2025 Closing Banquet in Washington, DC on November 22 and free registration to the SfRBM 2027 or SfRBM 2029 conference.
10 awards at $500 each are conferred to SfRBM postdoc or student members in the United States and 10 awards at $1,000 each are presented to SfRBM postdoc and student members in Canada, Latin America and the rest of the world (an additional 10 awards were funded by the SfRBM Foundation in 2025)
5 awards at $1,000 each are conferred to member trainees who are underrepresented in science or marginalized and/or intentionally ignored identities in society (BIPOC, LGBTQIA and/or disabled)
5 awards at $1,000 each are conferred to member trainees in Latin America to present their research at SfRBM 2025 with the expectation that they submit an article related to their work to one of SfRBM’s journals within 1 year
