show, Spring is deinitely in the air, 


but having lived over 20 years in 

Milwaukee Yogi Berra’s famous quote 

comes to mind – “it ain’t over till it’s 

over”.

We received 20 strong proposals for 

plenary sessions for #SFRBM2015 in HOGG

Thank you to everyone who illed out the society name-change survey 

we sent out earlier this year. We received over 300 responses with 

most (~75%) in favor of a name change. We will hold a membership- 

wide vote in April, so please be on the look out for announcements in 

emails and social media mid- April.


Finally, we are currently requesting nominations for the SFRBM 


“Discovery Award”. This is one of the most coveted awards given by 

the society to recognize a seminal discovery in the ield within the
