Membership Benefits

SFRBM members can take advantage of the following benefits:

  • A 24-issue subscription to Free Radical Biology and Medicine, the Society's official journal. Active and postdoctoral fellow members receive both a print and electronic subscription while student members receive on-line only.
  • Discounted registration (a $75 - $150 savings) to attend SFRBM's 19th Annual Meeting, to be held this coming November in San Diego, CA.
  • Opportunity to attend the Free Radical School Virtual Seminars which are offered on a quarterly basis and provide valuable education on a wide range of topics. Sessions are only offered to SFRBM members and at no charge.
  • Subscription to the DOT, a quarterly electronic newsletter that features literature reviews, interviews with a noted scientist active in the field of redox biology, information about upcoming SFRBM events and more.
  • Access to the Members Only sections of the SFRBM website which includes archived Free Radical School webinars, salary/compensation data and a database of scientific research abstracts.
  • Access to SFRBM's Searchable Scientific Collaboration Database. Members can now post their picture, bio, publications, research interests, current projects and social media pages. This on-line searchable directory was created to facilitate more scientific collaboration amongst redox researchers all over the world. Members can also opt in to receive a monthly email listing other colleagues indicating similar research interests.
  • Participation in SFRBM's Research Forum - a way for members to post comments about methods, techniques or general questions for which they are looking for input from colleagues.
